Open: Grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk; Visitor Center is open daily from 9am to 4pm excepting major holidays. Directions: From Manchester, Vermont, travel north on Route 30 for 8 miles. Turn left on Route 315 for 2 miles. At the top of the hill, turn left into the Merck Forest access road. From New York travel on Washington County Route 22 to Salem, New York. Turn east on route 153.
